Group Experience A

The first group option is a 2 hour group experience that includes horseback riding, horse grooming, and other fun horse games.  For Girl Scout groups, this option would work towards the Pets or Animal Habitat badges.

Group Experience B

The 2nd group option is also a 2 hour group option which focuses on building team-work, communication, and problem-solving skills.  This group includes ground-based activities, so this group does not include horseback riding.  One example of an activity for this group would be that the group would be asked to work together to get a horse over a jump with a rope and halter.  After the group is successful with this initial task, based on their ability, the staff would challenge the group by removing tools such as the rope or their ability to talk in order to help the group members to develop their resources and leadership.  This group is experiential and the group members are learning in the moment and practicing skills they learn.
